Insights into Private Practice

Nicky Abdinor is well-known for her private practice training. She has recently presented a lecture to the Stellenbosch Masters in Clinical Psychology (M1) students on “insights into Private Practice.” Following a variety of requests, Nicky has decided to convert the lecture into a webinar (60min + 15min for Q&A).

This webinar is ideally suited to:

• M1 Psychology students (across all registration categories)
• Interns
• Community Service Psychologists

The webinar will be a broad overview of what it’s like to be in private practice as a psychologist. Nicky will share her personal journey as a Clinical Psychologist and the various opportunities she has had (& created) to have a diverse and fulfilling career. She knows that private practice and running your own business is not for everyone, but with limited employment options for Psychologists in South Africa, we are often forced to take this path. Nicky will also include some ideas for participants to grow their interests and networks from M1.
