Starting Private Practice Bootcamp

This LIVE online training course is open to psychologists, psychiatrists, registered counsellors, psychometrists & social workers who are registered with the HPCSA or SACSSP. Interns and Community Service practitioners are also welcome.

THE PRESENTER:

Nicky Abdinor is a Clinical Psychologist based in Cape Town with over 19 years of private practice experience. She often supervises psychologists starting their practices and has created a group platform to make this type of support more accessible to colleagues. Nicky LOVES helping fellow therapists starting a practice. Therapists were never trained to run a business and this can make the “money” side of a practice extremely anxiety-provoking!

• The basics of billing, medical aids & PMB’s
• Practice policies, consent forms & being confident about your rates
• Marketing your practice (including websites and social media)
• Guidelines on making tax more streamlined

There will be an opportunity for Q&A. If there are specific questions that attendees want to be covered, you can email Nicky to make sure it is covered in the session. After the session, Nicky will send you LOADS of resources including everything you need to get your practice POPIA-ready. Please note that the course is not CPD accredited.
